Hi fellow Twilight fans, the sites been updated and under a new owner (still working on the templates), whilst still in it’s early stages I need your (YES YOU looking at this) right now help and advise to make this site better.
What else needs to be added? A forum, a link exchange, character information etc? What would you like to see? Which of your fave characters/ actors are missing out in the category section? Also what else would be cool – any ideas welcomed.

Got logged out, 1 – add a forum (I lurve Twilight talk), 2 – Profile the author in more detail I’d really be interested in her latest work, 3 – add more pictures like a picture gallery for all of the main cast.

Site needs to be re-formatted.
The lists of pages down the side just looks so cluttered. It needs to be re-arranged and presented so it isn’t an eyesore to look at.

Hi Nat, yes I agree with you there. I’ll try to get rid of what isn’t needed and attempt to put the levels into a dropdown menu of some kind to make it easier on the eyes. Thanks for your suggestion

Font is very hard on the eyes, needs to be larger and easier to navigate,, can never go wrong with more Edward pics! and a older fans forum would be a nice touch, not all twihards are teens xx

Okay there are some clear improvements that come to my mind which are as follows:
1. There are too many page links in the side bars which make it difficult for the user to quickly find what they are after. These could be improved by splitting them into sections and allowing the user to drill down to the content they require in steps rather than presenting them with too many options all at once.
2. The site is generally quite dark and whilst i understand this may be in reference to the mood of the books and films it may work better if a lighter background was used with key elements bringing in the dark colours scheme thus making the site more readable.
3. A third improvement would be to user smaller widget and banner sizes, especially for ebay and twitter. For twitter consider only showing the latest tweet or latest couple of tweets. the same also for ebay. Also consider having these all on the right hand side or footer of the page as they will make a clearer distinction between site based content and external content.
4. As far as the typography is concerned I would consider having a clearer hierarchy so that headers and text are sized according to their importance. E.g. Page headers would be fairly large, sub headers slightly small and paragraph headers and comment headers smaller still. I would however make the body text slightly larger and increase the line spacing to increase legibility. The colour scheme also comes into play here as white text on a grey back ground is more difficult to read especially at small font sizes.
These are the main points I would address and I believe they would make a large improvement in terms of User Experience and general usability.

Hi,
I would like to suggest the following improvements to your website.
First of all, the underline of links needs to be removed. It needs to have a hovering effect of DHTML or JavaScript menu.
You have lot of contents and sub links on the site. It’s better to present it in two ways. You could set up a home page portal and a forum linked to the main page. There are some excellent, reliable Forum software that you could use to help improve the website. I’d suggest Invision Power Board(IPB)(www.invisionpower.com), or VBulletin(www.vbulletin.com). You could build a forum from scratch, but it’s better to run on something, which got professional support and proven to be reliable. However, you need to constantly make security updates the forum software provide to stay safe.
The good thing is that you could customize the skin(template) of the forum. They might have gallery and additional add-ons. There are websites that build skins for the specific forum software etc. You could approach them or hire someone to do the coding or you could ask help and do the coding yourself. There are free-lancers that you could also hire for fair price, but never pay until the job is done.
Even the twilight figures page, it needs to be presented in a clean way. The pictures of figures look distorted. You should have a thumbnail view and then an enlarged view for each figure so people can see it before they buy. People may not bother to scroll down if the pictures on top of the page look unattractive.
The website’s background image needs to be changed, it look the same as the logo on top. If you want to add a background image, remember it needs to have a watermark effect. Remove the background image to the left and replace the logo with border around it. You might also want to merge the pictures in the main logo to look as one image instead of separated by individual borders. I did a little modification, it’s not fully completed but the picture below should show what I mean.

I also suggest you throw in some important links beneath the main logo of the website. DHTML drop down menus will look perfect beneath the main logo. After that, leave the rest of the links in each side columns.
The dark theme of the website needs some light greyish colors and glossy, flashy effects. You must make sure the website is compatible on lower and higher resolutions. Many webmasters fail to check this basic concept, which results in a disaster. There is still sizable number of people that might still use PC with windows 98 or 2000.
You also might want to think about presenting the main page with 3 columns or 2 columns of contents. You shouldn’t crowd the sides. Put thumbnail pictures in each of the side columns below menu links. Put an image of the day or something. You need more visual on the front page. The follow me twitter link that appears to the right of each page, it doesn’t look good on a dark website. It needs to have a dark background instead of the blue color. If it doesn’t have one then get rid of it or do a customize image and link to the twitter page. I apologize if my suggestions are harsh in any way and I don’t intend to do that. This is a wonderful website, it just need some enhanced look and some re-arrangements and modification of the design. I’m glad that the website administration has opened this thread for suggestions to improve the quality of the website. I am no techie myself and I look forward to the administration choice of decision for the growth and benefit of the website.

i couldnt find a section on stephenie meyer so if you hvent already got one i think that could be added,
also i think you should have tabs on other characters which have such an influential role in the books and films i.e; alice, jasper, rosalie, emmet, carlisle, esme, renee, charlie, billy, renesme
also there are quite a few scenes missed out in the films from within the books so mayb you should have a tab on these and a section on it where people can comment and talk about what scenes are missing and how they would have liked them to be in there.
also i havent found anything about The short second life of Bree Tanner
also maybe a section in which you can talk about having twilight parties and things like with a general overview of how to throw a great twilight themed party.
sorry if you have some or all of what i have mentioned its just i didnt see it whilst having a quick glance through the site

I would like a section where you have piano music so i could play bellas lullaby (amazing song!!)
ALso i think the text would be better in a bolder, larger font.
I would also like more jacob pictures (but maybe thats just me 6_9)
